Although quite unexpected at the time, in November 2007, aged 10 months old, Poppy came to join us.  She was born on the 20th January 2007 and is bred by Mike and Janet Lewis.

She is the first Beardie bitch that we have ever had.  She is a sweetheart but I can't say she is a lady, in fact I would call her a tom boy.  Her hairslide is never straight and she seems to prefer it that way !   She loves to run, just for the fun of it and is always trying to get the boys to join in.  She is the one that comes home after a walk the dirtiest.  She does however scrub up very nicely and we hope that she will be joining Miller at shows in the very near future.
